You can tell right away that you're going to pay a pretty dime right when you walk in. The ambiance and atmosphere of the Cafe was elegant and upscale. The cakes and pastries were expensive but worth it in my opinion. They were truly works of art and I almost did not want to eat it. Almost. But I was glad I did because these were some of the best desserts I had. If you are a pistachio fan, the pistachio entremet was Devine! Every bite tasted like pistachio without being too sweet or heavy. The lemon cake was also very good. It was fresh, not overly sweet, and had many textures to create an interest on the palette. Service was friendly and welcoming. They accept credit cards and separate check payments.

Centrally located, in a nice park. The patisserie located in the villa serves the best deserts in Prague.

If you visit Kampa island in Prague, make sure you taste some of the most amazing cakes and drink the most delicious Julius Mein coffee at this cozy historical building. Famous Czech actor, playwright and write Jan Werich used to live in this house 🎭 The prices are a bit higher here. We payed 140 CZK for two cappuccinos.

This place just could not get any better. The athmosphere is from another globe, from a better world. If there is heaven for having a coffee, this is that place.
