Church of St. Simon and Jude Concerts 2024-2025

This baroque church has great acoustics. I played there in orchestra. The inside is more beautiful than the outside. Great venue for music. The sound echos off the walls and has reverb.

Great venue for concerts, classical or even alternative (like visited ambient music concert).

This is a hidden gem. It is a small church, a real church when locals will visit and do their prayers instead of a tourist spot. Few nice carving, art pieces and some wall paintings. Some hymns are playing in the background made very peaceful atmosphere. It is a good visit even for non Christian.

Pleasant concert hall suitable for chamber concerts. The acoustics were good for the string instruments but not very supportive for the piano. The pianist was excellent and his performance of 2 Chopin scherzos very good . Long queue all the way downstairs to the cloakroom which seems to be a problem with all the opera and concert venues in Prague. Obviously in the Sring and Summer months you don't need heavy outer clothing so the cloakroom is not required.

Tucked away from the main path yet still magical inside. Enjoy a concert insight if you could.
