Congress & Wellness Hotel Tabor Palcát Concerts 2024-2025

Visited wellness during the Christmas time. The place is stunning. There's a great spacious sauna as well as many other facilities to enjoy and relax, including jacuzzi, massage, and lovely beds for relaxation . You can also refresh yourself with drinks served right there . Overall great place 👍

Pros: - newly renovated hotel, with comfy rooms - standalone bath tub is a nice feature in the room - just few steps from the city center - the night receptionist was one of the kindest and nicest people we ever met Cons: - I can't believe the hotel does not have an air conditioning, especially in rooms facing south! outside temperature was around 26-28 degrees and the heat inside the room was not bearable at all..for the price you are paying, this is a major let down and I can't believe I didn't notice it when booking the room - breakfast is sort of basic, not many options for vegans - wellness (sauna, whirlpool) is paid, even you book better room! with that price for the room, this is a scam

Very nice hotel in a beautiful not too big historic town in Czech Republic. Good and very commited service , nice kitchen. For people who want to see not only the standard tourist places in Czech Republic that nice hotel is a good place to stay.

Hotel looks nice enough on entry but standard rooms are very cramped, as is the bathroom and shower. They’re also very basic and carpet not the cleanest. Breakfast was decent enough. The most annoying thing though is extra payment for sauna & swimming. These should be included as standard. They even had the gall to charge us for a tiny little toothpaste as we’d forgotten ours. Still can’t get my head around that one. Assured us there was an iron in the room. You actually needed to pick one up from reception. Amazed they didn’t charge for that as well 🙄

The hotel is situated in a nice place, although the street is a bit noisy during the night. The restaurant is trying hard to provide modern cuisine (sometimes it would not hurt to step down a little bit and offer something more regional, not so fancy, but that's up to everyone's taste), the wellness and other facilities are superb. The rooms however are mediocre at best. We had a room facing south, no air conditioning, no blinds in the windows, just translucent curtains – which meant poor air quality. The bathroom had a problem with plumbing (shower drain was probably clogged). The hotel was modernized in the recent years, but the workers did a sloppy job. For example the upper closet was almost useless as the ceiling light blocked it's doors.
