Operaen, Holmen Concerts 2024-2025

The building and acoustics get 5 stars - hands down. Having been here quite a few times and never once been disappointed by the sound and scene shows. The parking ruins the experience- not enough parking underneath and they removed the outdoor parking. Add to this the difficulty to get home by the public transport. We come less because of this reality.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Signage where to go was a bit sparse. Public transport to get there (ferry or bus) can be variable. It was an extremely sunny day so if someone leaves the theatre it disturbed quite a bit with bright light. I'm not sure why they added mist to the stsge, it made photos more difficult even though photos were encouraged. The catering had no allergy or ingredients labelling which excludes people from the networking in the breaks quite a bit. I was at a 5-6 hour event so was very hungry towards the end. They did not find my name badge until the second half which was a bit random & disorgabised. Even knowing name badges even existed was also not well signed or mention in the event details. It was an event which involved networking so a hand written name badge was cumbersom. When the westher is nice, the views and arcitechture are incredible. All the facilities

We did not went to see the show in the opera house but just to check out the building and the surrounding area and view from the building - and we were not dissapointed! The building doesn't look much from outside, but indoors it is fancy and pretty and provides a great view. Also the surrounding park area with cafes is cute. I have heard the main hall for the performances is also amazing.

Amazing architecture! A must see and if you have the time go and enjoy one of their shows. They also translate the shows in english, so like us, we could understand the whole show! The Danish really did an excellent job by maling such a beautiful building!

My daughter and I had a magical experience with Cinderella. She gasped in wonder a few times ❤️ The first act was especially mesmerising. Magical sets, wonderful music and the “mean sisters” were an absolute joy to watch. We saw the February 1st performance. Ordering beverages through their app, so that they were ready for us in the break, was neat. Shuttle ferry service from the Opera to Nyhavn was excellent. Bravo!👏🏼👏🏼
