Bistro No 3 Concerts 2024

I've eaten at Bistro No. 3 multiple times and each time it's been an absolute delight. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the food is always top notch. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, which just enhances the experience. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough - 5 stars!

The food was delicious and the portions good size. The prices are a bit higher but fitting for the quality of the food. We really enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant is very cozy and the staff very friendly. We arrived 10min before they opened and they already let us sit inside, which was great as I’m 9 months pregnant. Definitely coming here again.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience here. We paid almost 2000 kr for three burgers, and two mains and two starters with some soda and one non- alcoholic beer. Way too expensive. The starters which arrived immediately were lovely but we had to wait almost 50 minutes for the rest of the food. The burgers could have been delicious but the meat was raw in the middle in all three burgers which the owner admitted to when he took our plates away with the leftover burgers which wasn’t eaten due to the raw meat. We had been waiting so long though for our food that we didn’t send them back as our girls were really hungry by the time the food came. The main dish (fish) was ok. The pesto potatoes were slightly tasteless. We were overcharged on our bill and it took some time and confusion to correct the bill. One of the owners who was very friendly told us that he had taken away the price of one of the burgers but unfortunately on examination of the bill afterwards he had made some mistakes with the figures. We were given a 70 kr reduction in total after the initial mistake was corrected. One of the waiters made many mistakes and didn’t seem quite to know what he was doing but maybe he was new to the job? He definitely needs some practise though. Overall though, we were left with a hefty minus in our bank accounts and a feeling of being ripped off - very long wait time, not wonderful service and food which should have been better for the price. I would recommend finding another place to eat in Gilleleje. I hope not to receive an angry response to this honest review from the restaurant🤞 I’m sure if they tweaked a few things it could be much better so please take the criticism in a constructive way, as it is intended!

The burger was pretty dry both the meat one and the vegetarian one. The onion ring didn’t taste onion. And be aware they charge you 30 dkk for a bottle of tap water.

The food was excellent and came quickly, both the healthy salad and the burgers. The decor is beautiful. However, we were most impressed with the friendly management : We arrived to the restaurant on the way up to our summerhouse with a baby and two small (well behaved) dogs - the manager was super accommodating and allowed us all to sit inside. And when my mum needed an extra chair to put her foot on they accommodated that too. Great place!
