Marinaen Concerts

This restaurant was recommended by my wife and despite a cold windy day we had a pleasant walk from the train station, down the canal, then through the Kolding Åpark Hundeskov. The brisk walk helped our appetites. We arrived with no reservation during lunch but were found good seats, the waitresses were attentive and the food was superb. All this topped off by a beautiful view allows for a 5 star review.

We managed to grab a table spontaneously and had a great meal! The food was delicious and the service great. Some of them even spoke a bit German!

Beautiful location by the harbor and the dog off-leash forest. Extensive terrace with a drinking bowl for the dog. However, the food was a bit disappointing. Firstly, the onion soup was very small in portion size compared to the price and extremely salty. Then we had a warm terrine of cod and lobster, but it looked and tasted like an omelet. Again, it was very salty and lacking in quantity.

Honeslty 5 stars it’s not enough! If I had the choice I would put 100 stars! The staff is amazing the food was good

A wonderful restaurant and very a quaint setting. The staff was superbly friendly. I enjoyed the NY strip steak and fritz. It came with a bernaise sauce and I paired it with a Rose wine.
