Tammelan Stadion Concerts

Pretty little stadium that hosted its first game but is not fully operating yet as some little construction is still undergoing (February 17, 2024). Only seating is available but fully covered (in case of a strong wind some seats might be exposed to rain, hail or snow). Though I was sitting in the VIP area (heated seating is available but currently not working), it seems that there is a good view from almost everywhere. The seats are close to the pitch and the upper and lower levels are steep. I personally liked the grey/white design and the curvey shape of the roof as it merged nicely with the snow storm :) . In general it seems that there was a focus on quality rather than quantity, considering 8,000 seats are not many. I strongly recommend arriving by public transport, bike or on foot as parking is very limited. Besides the obligatory bars and restaurants to spend time before and after the game, there is also a supermarket inside/under the stadium - perfect for your weekly grocery shopping.

Buy tickets online or at the gate and go to watch football. There are toilets and stalls that sell soft drinks, beer and grilled sausages. There are no dedicated car parks but only at the side of the street.

Old Style Stadion. Players are close and feelings is just right. In future something else? Also feelings will be buried with the old.

Fun place to watch Ilves (men's and women's teams) play football.
