THEATRE ANTIQUE- ARLES Concerts

Right next door to the main amphitheatre you can find this minor Roman Theatre. Entry came as part of a multi pass tourist pass that we purchased for €15 which gives you access to 4 monuments and 2 museums. If found it fascinating to see all the 'spare parts' in the back garden section. It's great that the venue is being used for performances and concerts but the scaffolding and huge lighting towers takes away from the beauty of the place for me. That aside, I would highly recommend you visit.

You can buy a 11 euro ticket that covers the arena and this theater. Both together are worth the price. However, if you have seen the arenas in Nîmes then Arles and the arena may seem the same. Theater is good and more fun when the Arles festival is on (we came here a few years back during the festival and it was more fun).

Wow what a place , it was a really great place to visit , Also to be able to touch the huge boulders of marble & granite they used to build it in the first place was amazing . The detail that is still on a lot of the stones is amazing . There’s a small charge to enter but it’s worth every penny . If you’ve got kids they’ll also enjoy visiting here .

You can buy 2in1 ticket for visiting Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre. We did so, and we were very happy. Both of them are amazing.

This place is so peaceful and relaxing even in a normal day like Monday. We spent a quiet 30-45 min visit. Our son spent the entire time drawing while we talked and soaked in the reach history of the place.
