This is a truly huge venue, ample space inside, and the location is key. Right on the water front, right near the marina. The space can be utilised in a number of ways, attending a conference here where the venue was utilised to its capacity. Ample space, low ceilings however, toilet facilities can be overloaded when there are large volumes of people in attendance. But overall a positive experience, it's all about the location, and this venue is located perfectly, good security facilities and they are prompt and friendly.

I didn't go inside, just came for the red carpet where the movie stars walk during the film festival each year. Not a celebrity fan I still wanted a photo. The festival hall is seaside and it is truly nice to walk in the area along the beach with all the fancy hotels, boutiques and restaurants

You can't go inside, but only visit the suvirnier shop and taking pics at the red carpet is a highlight for everyone. There are famous Hollywood star palms around the buildings. It's a good experience to visit, after how curious what the Cannes film festival location look like. And next to it is a beautiful ocean, hundreds of visitors everyday.

OK, it's a truly iconic place in modern history. Seeing it on TV for decades, finally, being there. And nothing beats being there. And, of course, it doesn't live up to expectation. Reality rarely does. They must 'clean it up' for the BIG EVENT, but for mundane tourists, it's neglect. The area is very small. How they cram audience and parading stars is amazing. The big sign is colorful, and the background wall of photos (all American actors) is creepy. The red carpet is rough, stained, thin. But it's still neat to be there where the celebs will walk by (in May). The handprints-of-stars is underwhelming. The prints are dirty,, signatures barely legible; no plaques, no photos, nothing. The city fathers could have done something, they didn't bother. For e.g., Nicholas Cage print looks like it fell down. Did he? Wasted opportunity. IF you're in the area and IF you love movies, watched the TV festival, for decades, Hollywood fascinates, by all means, take the train (walk from station is 10minutes) and take a selfie. Cost near nothing. The town is small, cute but bring lots of money cause they have too much money here, don't need more. Doors after locked, preparing for some game exhibition. Note Feb2024 The entire Croisette road is a giant excavation site, something about sewers. Even a playground for the rich needs sewers. The majestic hotels are still there. If only their walls could speak.
