PARC DU TRINQUET Reviews

Great place for adventurous kids to play. Our older son (almost 9) wanted to do every ropes course but the staff limited him to up to yellow(5 courses) based on his height. The younger kids did 2 courses each. The staff didn't mind if the kids did the same ones again. There's a quick video orientation in French which is not difficult to understand since it is video even if you don't speak French. Then we got on the climbing harness and helmet which a nice employee helped us fit. Then there is another quick tutorial video in French with English subtitles. Then the kids got to do a very short Zipline with help from the staff so they knew how to connect their carabiner and hook. Our son took just a little coaching along the way. It was fun to watch from the ground and encourage him. It's easy to take videos or pictures of the climbers along the entire course since there are walking paths. The staff was helpful if we needed it but we really didn't. Our older son did all 5 courses in about 2 hours but this was his first time doing anything like this. I'm sure it will be faster next time. He had so much fun and wanted to do more but it was hot and he was a bit tired out. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Challenging klimbing courses and enough to spend a entire afternoon here. We got great instructions from Matthew (the man with the cool sunglases). He spoke english very well which made asking for help al lot easier and the overall experience a lot better. Had a great day!

While passing on the way to Cap Ferret we saw the ziplines and platforms of the parc acrobatique forestier and chose to come on the following day. The entry fee of 19€ for an adult seems steep but is well worth it. Everybody is in a great mood and friendly, some speak good English. There’s courses for every level of ability and I sure got to my limit (entry to the black course is very hard and we did all the courses before and just lacked the strength). The big zip line is a lot of fun but also pretty hard to get up to. It was raining slightly - that was a good thing. The Park was empty apart from us. The courses were not too slippery and you will get hot anyway. The ziplines end in the sand and you will get sandy frequently so bring old clothes and leave everything else in the car ;) My wife and I had an absolute blast - we are 31 and reasonably fit. I totally recommend this place for people who like such activities and are not afraid of heights. Big children (16+ will love it!). Smaller children will probably also enjoy but might not be allowed to go on all courses. We spent about 4,5h with a short break and going on all courses but the black one (tried to get on it twice though :D Try this place :)
