Very beautiful, impressive cathedral. Just like the Notre Dame in Paris

It is historically interesting but in a very bad state of repair. And freezing cold.

Beautiful cathedral with very well done explanations throughout

Marcel Proust and his driver came to view the façade and doors of Lisieux Cathedral in the early 1900s. They arrived after sunset and so lit up the building with the headlamps of the car. He re-tells the travel story in a piece for Le Figaro: Proust, M. (1907) ‘Impressions de route en automobile.’ Le Figaro.

Spectacular, the beautiful paintings were Breath taking.
