Hippodrome ParisLongchamp Concerts 2025

We have been to many racetracks around the United States. This was quite a beautiful racecourse. We had some challenges at this track with not being able to use the machines due to credit card security. Bets can be placed with agents who walk around in red or green jackets. This was a major concern as agents were still not in position at 20 minutes to post. Be sure to purchase seats. We were able to sit in a Salon and were protected from the wind and cold. There is also a Bar where you can order coffee, beer, wine and Hot dogs. There was only one restaurant that I saw and it looked like you needed a reservation and needed to be dressed well. It was off the track though so you can't see the horses. At other racetracks there are multiple food options. Here you are extremely limited. They could have easily had some Barbeque options or perhaps a bakery. I did see a crepe place when we walked in but it was all the way downstairs and it was cold. In the back they had hot dogs and hamburgers for kids but I didn't come to Paris for a Hot Dog. Either eat before you go or have a hot dog and then eat a nice meal somewhere after. We went on Family Sunday and thought there would be major crowds but there were not. This was disappointing. Its nice to hear people cheering and having a great time!

A fantastic day at Longchamp for the Prix de L’arc de Triomphe. Such a amazing racecourse, great facilities and mega value for money! Highly highly recommended for couples, groups and family days out.

Fantastic racecourse,with stunning views, just need a few extra seats the lawn.

If you are looking to fill a day when you are visiting Paris the Hippodrome de Longchamp is a perfect day trip. It is about a €25 cab ride and you get to drive through the park and gardens on the way out. There are different types of tickets and your access to Brasserie or the horses before each race is lined based on the ticket you buy, so read up. We bought a panorama ticket which gave us access to the second deck, an indoor lounge with AC, a private bar, and seats. The views were great! International horse racing runs many different types of races, and they are all here so check the schedule for the tour of races. In between races there are fun activities, good and drinks.... There is even an area of food trucks with some great local options. If you like to gamble the beers can be as little as €1,50 and you are in the game!!!! I personally found our time here fantastic, and would go back next time we are in Paris!

Fabulous racecourse-visited for the Saturday of the Arc weekend. Staff were helpful and welcoming, zoned areas were well managed. Prices were as expected for a racecourse and a premier race meet but try to eat before arriving as even snacking is expensive.
