L'OMBRIERE Reviews

Nice place. Good wine... We spent a very pleasant evening there, with a great comedy show on the program.

A good intention but... Quite a bit of progress to be made. We won't even talk about aesthetics in this time where we would like soft and rather low-carbon architectures, here it is the reign of raw concrete and steel... Strange too, in a region like ours to still find toilets without reduced flushing, I didn't even think that this still existed. No, the problem is rather the layout: very cramped seats and somewhat spartan armchairs, it is better not to exceed 1.70 m and 80 kg... And this little metal grille in front of the feet... ouch! With the very steep access stairs we are far from handicap friendly. Why not reserve places at the bottom of the stairs? A two-hour show? I hope your knees are doing well as well as your sciatica... On the sound side it's pretty good for the textures, but the relief has been forgotten. The piano on the left of the stage is emitted by a speaker at the top right, it's strange. The icing on the cake when returning the car to the parking lot: the limits of the handicapped spaces are marked by a gray inscription in the concrete. Barely visible. No colored bands. As a result, a friendly person had stuck his twingo against the door of my vehicle. Impossible to get behind the wheel without going through the driver's seat. Luckily I wasn't in a wheelchair... So a good intention but... we feel that we wanted a beautiful room in Uzes without really paying the price, and as a result we see a lot of budgetary cuts. Damage.

A great place discovered this evening thanks to the visit of Sandra Colombo as part of the Uzès festival, Seul en Scène. Looking forward to coming back to discover the next programs.
