I have only experienced the restaurant. Exceptional food at a reasonable price. Beautiful real estate (nature, architecture,...) and very peaceful, uplift vibes.

For this we also accept the slightly further journey... Restaurant very cozy in autumn/winter and the beer garden in spring/summer simply fantastic. The food is excellent and the waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Every minute here is a pleasure. Top location 👍🏻🫶🏻

For me it is the absolute best and most beautiful beer garden in the entire region. The place is beautiful and incredibly quiet and romantic. The food was much finer than an ordinary beer garden and the service was perfect, nice and polite. I give without a doubt five stars to this very, very pretty place.

Thanks for the knowledge, that walking, a stay is with me. Saturday takes me sleepily into the gray and rainy morning. Thoughts wander around in my head and make plans for the next few days, which my feelings argue against with the keywords vacation, public holidays and relaxation. Since I am a “gut person”, the thought side has no chance on this day. Now that my inner self has been able to sort out this little dispute, I'm now looking forward to the alpaca hike with Christian Tesch from the Weilachmühle in Altomünster/Thalhausen, which was a little surprise from Christkind. The trip to the Dachau hinterland already has a small recreational value for city dwellers, because here you won't find any traffic jams, red lights, noise or smell. I admit that the smell of the country can be very natural in some places, but it is supposed to have a healthy note. The Weilachmühle, idyllically located between Aichach, Augsburg and Dachau, has changed hands several times in its history, but has never lost its charm and esprit. A cabaret stage shows an unusual cultural program and is also a wonderful location for weddings and other celebrations. Today, my curiosity and interest belong exclusively to the alpacas, which I know from pictures and about which I otherwise have no knowledge. The greeting from Christian Tesch increases my curiosity even more, while the free-roaming chickens and the soulful look of the farm dog cause a slight swaying inside me. Once in the stable, the allocation of the alpacas begins. Explanatory words from the owner and a first sniff between human and animal make the anticipation shine in the children's eyes and I can also sense the excitement of something new and exciting in the adults. My comrade for the next few hours is “Feivel”, a six-year-old alpaca and the lead animal within the caravan. Interestingly, the animals themselves decide in which order they run and thus enjoy a freedom that humans often take away from themselves through a desire for recognition and envy. The hike begins with a short up and down across fields and meadows. After a few minutes of walking, the group's disorder transforms into a relaxed but solid togetherness. Leading the animals loosely on a rope, paying attention to the person in front and thus making the group a safe unit, are also lessons that are helpful for everyday life among people. The absence of “just me” behavior would also make many things easier for our society today. The slow steadiness of the march takes me away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and towards the important things. I am grateful to be able to spend this day healthy, without fear and peacefully. Big thoughts become small and problems become less important. After three kilometers I am grounded because my feet and the path understand each other. I remember that for me it is not the journey that is the destination, but the journey that is my life. As expected, the sun now joins our group and provides warmth and joy with its rays. I watch my comrade “Feivel” as he secures the group from the front after 2 1/2 hours with his attention and caution and brings them home calmly and harmoniously. Through his behavior he shows me how easy life together could be if we humans wanted it to be. I will take good care of this treasure within me and take it with me. Afterwards I buy little souvenirs made from alpaca wool in the farm shop and look forward to seeing each other again in the Weilachmühle on January 20, 24 when we visit “True Crime” Live on Stage with Stephan Lucas. This place, like life, offers all facets and makes it so worth living.
