This is a great hotel. Dinner was wonderful as I had ordered Gratinierter Ziegenkäse. Although there were very less options for vegetarian food, but I loved this thing. But it is over crowded, and that's why we had to wait for long to get our order. Overall a good hotel.

Were there on January 6th, 2020 with 4 people, to Urban Priol. Start: 6:00 p.m., doors open at 5 p.m. No seat reservation possible. So we were there shortly before 5 p.m., there was already a 40m long queue... the last ones got reasonably connected seats. The run on chairs (the same thing happened to others) was terrible and actually the first reason not to attend such an event again. More on that later... first of all, the reason for our visit, Urban Priol with the annual review program. Great as always, took a break after 90 entertaining minutes. Then it continued for another 60 minutes. He is simply great and would be happy to see/hear him again. It was actually a lovely evening if it hadn't been for the absolute overcrowding of the hall. The following impressions are reflected by other guests with whom we exchanged ideas: the hall was (due to demand?) fuller than usual. The chairs were so tightly packed and in long rows that when you sat, you found yourself unable to get up to go to the toilet or get drinks. Due to the overcrowding, the queue at the drinks counter was so long that people didn't even queue or waited a second time. Since we had to be there at 5 p.m. and the program with a break was long as described, we would have liked to have gotten a drink or two (more) or gone to the toilet. Both have been avoided, just as others have done. The overcrowding and tight seating certainly came at the expense of drinks sales... a very dangerous point, the safety aspect. There should not have been mass panic during this time. We talked about it at the performance, including with those sitting next to us. I don't want to imagine the consequences... I can't imagine whether an authority would have approved this seating (type = long rows without aisles and number = overcrowding). See attached pictures. Absolutely negligent! So I'm thinking carefully about my next visit. Basically the location is very nice and appealing and recommended.

Last night the Hofgarten presented the artist Kay Ray. The packed hall was buzzing with excitement and it was the funniest evening I've had in a long time! Everything was just right here from the start. The building is largely barrier-free and has a wheelchair-accessible toilet, which always reassures me as a wheelchair user. Added to this is the extremely courteous staff at the Hofgarten, who couldn't be nicer. And to top it all off, here's Kay Ray. An evening that finally allows you to forget all the worries of everyday life and straightens out the craziness of today with a wink.
