Event area with historical reference. The gasworks, which produced gas from coal to supply Augsburg until around 1970 (deliveries went as far as Kaufbeuren), has been converted into an art and event area since 2001. The largest part can already be used for small to very large events (including “Sommer am Kiez”). The site also houses a museum and the Brecht stage of the Augsburg State Theater. Great location, anyone who can should definitely take a guided tour!!

The person in charge let us in at 6 p.m. because it was listed incorrectly on the internet and gave us a drink to console us because the concert didn't start until 9:30 p.m.! How great responded!
