The church is a family for some of us who left Africa to Europe,it assist us and guide us in intergrating.Amazing without church i would have been dumb founded.thank you Jesus cause you are evrywhere.

I have a lot in common with the collegiate church. The church is very beautiful, especially after the restoration. Lots of seats available. However, the speakers are so turned up that it hurts your ears after 10 minutes.

Very beautiful church, newly renovated and brought up to date. Visits are also possible almost all week, including the crypt. Very interesting!

I live in Heilbronn and regularly visited my mother in Backnang. I parked in front of the courthouse and found the open church next door. My parents were married and all my siblings and I were baptized in the collegiate church. A really nice and knowledgeable guide, who turned out to be a former colleague, welcomed me during my spontaneous visit to the newly renovated church. My tip: Take some time and you will find out a lot about the current parish, the history of Backnanger Abbey and the town where I was born.
