Went here to watch la cage aux folles. What a fun time watching artists have fun creating art. The costumes were amazing, the lighting and the set design were fantastic. Highly recommend.

"Murks in Germany" (Comedy & Cabaret) - a very impressive program in the Bad Freienwalder Hoftheater. I visited this theater venue for the first time. It is a cute, small theater with only about 160 audience seats, according to information on site. I am impressed and very pleased that this small theater exists. The game plans have also been on my mind for a long time. I find the range of programs diverse. Now I finally got there and experienced a lastingly impressive evening. My seat in the VIP lounge gave me the best view of the action on stage. Overall, the hall is harmoniously furnished in terms of color and functionality. Good comfortable seating. The small snack bar is located at the back of the lounge. The offers there didn't appeal to me. I only had a coffee and next time I'll skip that. Well, I'm local, so it's easy for me to see it that way. Entrance and cloakroom are very well organized, and there are enough parking spaces on the street in the evenings. That's why I didn't even look to see which ones and how much belong directly to the theater, so I can't say anything about that. Four stars, good and welcome from me after my first visit to the court theater.

A gem of the cultural scene in northern Brandenburg. The Hof-Theater Bad Freienwalde is located in the middle of the town's wonderful old town and has been lovingly renovated. The sponsor is a club and yet with Matthias Sebastian Raupach there is an active theater director who is also all too happy to be on the boards himself, which means the world to more than just him. The program is more than exceptional for a provincial theater. The philosophy behind the association also means introducing young audiences to the theater. The theater is regularly, but unfortunately not permanently, transformed into a cinema. Most of the time, high-quality program films are shown. These often come from the Defa studios. It's always worth taking a look at the program because there's something for almost every taste.

A beautiful, cute theater with great ideas. We felt very comfortable, were well entertained and everything went well.
