Arenfels Castle Concerts 2024

Wonderful Christmas market with stunning light effects and a great looking Christmas tree inside their stairways. (Must see!) My only complaint is to have a tip jar for the bathroom which is just outright stingy after paying entrance and a steep parking fee! Providing a clean toilet is not an extra optional service but should be expected. The attendant gave my wife a bit of a dirty look for not leaving money while she is pretty much just smoking one cigarette after another outside anyways 😂 But overall this is a 5 star attraction, especially during Christmas. It takes a lot of effort to maintain this place and the pricing is adequate otherwise.

A review on the Accommodation. Loved it. Awesome for Families. We spent two nights here while visiting family in Bad Honningen. Epic experience staying in a castle. The location is amazing. The breakfast was too. Annetta in the kitchen, love your work. The views are really cool. The Castle oversees the Village, which covers the lower Rhine River Valley flor. Amazing to see the shipping, going up and down the Valley. And the grounds surrounding the Castle are wooded above and vineyards below. There is a great gift shop located in the building too. Local produce and art and things. Highly Recommend. .

Had the great opportunity to spend the night in the castle. It was an amazing experience and felt like we went back into medieval times. The view was fantastic and grounds were amazing. The room was modern, yet kept the ancient vibes of what a castle would look like back in the days.

Absolutely gorgeous castle, we stayed in for a night, they have a cute little shop with all sorts of wine, liquor, olive oils and other things, also locally made wine. If you get the chance to stay in the castle, for sure do!

Surprised our children with one night's stay here and had a wonderful visit. We definitely didn't want to leave after one night and wished we had more time to explore (hiking and the small town)...maybe next time. Everyone who worked here was exceptionally friendly and accommodating of us, even though we speak very little German. We stayed in a family "room" which was really 3 rooms + a bathroom, and enjoyed walking around the grounds, touring the castle, and eating in the Schlosseria! If you have the opportunity, definitely book a night or two!
