A couple of hollow trees... With a story behind it.

Beautiful beech forest for nature lovers. Easily accessible on foot from Reinhardshausen. Also very interesting for nature-loving children and with an impressive and special atmosphere. You shouldn't expect too much, it's just a forest. Not more but also not less

For lovers of old trees, this small, abandoned forest is a recommended excursion destination. Now in January, the old beech trees with their bizarre trunks, branches and roots come into their own and can be an interesting subject for photographers. At other times of the year you will be able to experience the transformation of the little one. You can also have a picnic in a nearby forest clearing.

A place well worth seeing with great old trees. We were there in winter and the atmosphere was really a bit mystical since no one else was there. We parked at the Immelberg hiking car park and walked from there. In general, the paths there are very beautiful! Directly at the Hutewald there is a barbecue hut for resting and there are also some benches. The forest itself is quite small and I would therefore generally combine the trip with a hike.
