Stadtkirche St. Kilian Concerts

A beautiful church, not as simple as many other Protestant churches, but not too ostentatious either. What I liked best were the chandeliers, but also the stained glass windows behind the altar.

The church is very beautiful. ProTip: You can switch on the lighting for the organ and altar at the entrance. In general, the church is highly recommended

On December 24th, 2017 I took a trip to Bad-Windsheim with a friend. We planned to visit a few sights, including the town church of St. Kilian. At the main entrance there is a large sign saying "Our church is open, come in!" ... and further: "Opening times: Daily from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m." We wanted to come in, but the church wasn't open and there was no notice about special regulations. All churches and other tourist attractions were also closed. It's a good thing that God doesn't have any opening hours or special regulations, or does he??? :(

The organ is impressive.
