The turn of the century theatre building sits uncomfortably with the experimental, independent performances that take place on its stage. The lobby, hallways, and especially the sad little bar always feel empty and abandoned, the stylish young audience members looking lost in this architectural relic. The seating in the auditorium itself is very narrow and cramped, with no possible escape once one is seated in the middle of the row, and the room gets unbearably hot. This might contribute to the fact that while I've enjoyed many shows at HAU2, I have never hated a performance as much as I have the ones I have seen at HAU1.

We were at Laibach show. The main people on the band got sick with covid and nobody communicayed anything. Just before start of the show was like...and by the way, there is no lead singers, we'll use recording for those parts. I hope they get well and it's understandable that this happens, however lack of communication I find absolutely unprofessional. It would be respectful towards guests to inform about this prior to the show and let us decide if we still want to see the show or wait for another opportunity.
