Fortunately this old, venerable place still exists. We were here for the "magicians" Siegfried and Joy. Maybe we should speak of entertainers, because the magic tricks weren't really convincing. The good acoustics, the friendly staff and the good program contribute to an overall experience. which will remain in my memory as very positive.

A cultural/theatre center with a heart and mind for intercultural issues, right in the middle of Kreuzkölln. You can see quite edgy performances here and enjoy a glass of wine or beer. In Spring/Summer, the tiny terrace inside is also nice.

The venue is cozy, albeit a bit too uncomfortably crammed when sold out. I watched a performance depicting the life of Rio Reiser. I really enjoyed their interpretation of his music. The staff is really friendly and forthcoming. If you do not know the place it can be easy to miss.

Was here for a group singing event that berliners love. You sing karaoke along to live music and in unison. Very neat and good energy. Alcohol is served and there’s an intermission.

Great venue. Attended for a university graduation ceremony. It is an old theatre tucked away in a courtyard accessed by a tunnel through more modern looking buildings on the street. Feels a bit secret.
