It’s a cute traditional venue where the friendly staff and the patrons alike are in their third youth. The atmosphere is typical of old West Berlin: no hipsters or foreigners here. Shows are comprehensible with little abstraction. It’s appreciated in Berlin. Loved the place.

Great Theater. I had the luck to watch a Shakespearean play with great actors so I can't tell you if they are always that good. Why only 4 out of 5 stars. Because you need to pay extra for the wardrobe and the bathroom are wired. It felt like you walked into the backstage area when you enter the door to the restroom. Besides that kind staff! The stage design in "König Lear" was kept very minimalistic but enough for the play and purpose! I can still definitely recommend visiting.

It is an old and small theater but very cute and comfy. The stuff working there were amazingly nice, friendly and polite. The experience transported me to an older and more real Berlin for a while. I recommend it.

Nice Theatre, I really enjoyed the venue. It's fairly small, at 50% capacity it was easy to see/understand everything from the back, no need to upgrade your seats to the front rows.

Berlin's only art deco theater. Very nice central venue.
