The Franciscan church was originally Gothic and later became a baroque monastery church. It has no church tower, like many other mendicant churches, but only a small baroque roof turret. The church⛪ is located next to the Franciscan Gate in the old town. It is the second largest church in the city after St. Nicholas Minster, whose parish it also belongs to.

Beautiful medieval church with well-preserved baroque furnishings. Very impressive ceiling paintings, some with a dome illusion. Access via the inconspicuous side door.

If you are a churchgoer it can be ok. But a bridal mass is totally for the A.... The pastor chats about something in Latin for an hour and spends about 5 minutes dealing with the bride and groom. So nothing for me. And no matter what he is talking about, the woman is subject to the man. And the woman is to give birth and the man is to bring up. So completely stuck in the Middle Ages.
