We really enjoyed the "Nacht der Gitarren", the performance was amazing. The location offerd great acoustics for this kind of music. The benches were quite uncomfortable to sit on for 2+ hours.

Extraordinary event location with great staff and a surprisingly good acoustic. It was a special evening for me, thanks to Christuskirche and Amenra.

It is a Gothic style church constructed in 1877. Mostly destroyed in the air attacks of 1943, the tower remains. It is now used as a gathering hall, but is mostly closed.

This is a nice venue with a good vibe. Acoustics are really good, music really comes to life and loud sound amplification is not needed. Sitting on church benches for 3 hours is not really comfortable though. The drinks assortment at the bar is very limited, drinks without alcohol and without fizz are not available, so no bottled water... And it is not allowed to bring your own.
