Matrix Bochum Concerts 2025

Great place for concerts and parties. Very spacious with multiple bars and rooms. It's nice because there are areas to sit and talk in if the music gets to be too much. There are multiple bathrooms, and they are clean. However, there has always been a long wait outside to get in, and it is super uncomfortable, especially in bad weather. One person working the door isn't enough. There is also often a long line for the coat check, and usually only one person working that as well too.

Drinks are great, good price and big glasses. Staff is nice for crew and visitor. Toilets are very clean. Location is great but parking is a hell, no real good way to park somewhere safely. Sound was great but the smoke machine must be turned down, it ruins the voices of singers and even the visitors were complaining. Ofcourse Semblant was great again, we knew that already. \m/

It's ok, staff is friendly and atmosphere is nice. However, it is very difficult to see the stage (it should either be raised up or floor slanted) and ventilation is really poor! There were some dusty fans on the celling that didn't even work.

One of the worst entrance and garderobe organization I have ever seen. +1h waiting in the line for people that already had tickets, 1h waiting to give back the jacket, 1h waiting to take back the jacket (although people said they once waited for 3 hours). Everything was so slow like they made the party for the first time, pure pain. After all of that you need to go to Kasse to buy a coupon for drinks, on the end you are left with the money on it that you won't get back (unless you perfectly calculate everything). As mentioned in other comments, I saw security constantly opening the doors of bathrooms and no, they don't say anything before entering as they claim. Generally security was rude. Paaainful club experience + stinky bahrooms

Nice place... for parties, not fo concerts... Too narrow, difficult to see the stage who are in the middle to back. The sound was good. Matrix is a really crazy place!!
