KITO - Altes Packhaus Vegesack Concerts 2024

For the third time we have come from Wuppertal specifically to see Big Daddy Wilson live. And explore the Christmas market the next day. It is worth it .. The location is cozy with great acoustics and a private atmosphere.

Culture in a beautiful part of Vegesack. Located directly at the harbor, the area invites you to take a short walk around the houses to get some exercise after sitting in silence for a long time after the event. Especially if you still have 1 hour of driving time ahead of you. At KITO there are several cultural and culinary experiences under one roof. I would have liked to have lingered in the courtyard on the beautiful, balmy evening before and chosen something from the menu. (If the child sitter had been able to.) The house gives an idea of ​​the ancient history it carries. Beautifully restored and yet old, original walls and buildings can be seen. There's certainly more in the in-house museum... As far as I have seen, there is unfortunately no elevator for people with physical disabilities. In any case, it is not immediately obvious. The event hall is on the 3rd floor, directly under the roof. Drinks can be purchased on site and consumed at the event. Very pleasant! The atmosphere is relaxed, rustic. A fine little cultural location.

On February 14th, 2020 we were at the Kito with Matthias Jung, who informed us about puberty in a very humorous way. I would estimate that the Kito had space for around 150 guests. The open beams and the wooden interior create an overall cozy atmosphere. However, the event room is located directly under the roof, so the temperature is likely to be even higher in the summer months. Even though the acoustics play a minor role at a comedy event, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound.
