The monastery looks unspectacular from the outside but is probably used for celebrations. If you want to go up by car, you have to take a very long detour - it can be reached on foot via 3 steep stairs - from up there you have a good view of the Reichsburg, there is seating available, there is a cemetery, a school and residents' houses nearby . The Moselle is not visible from there!

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary in the nuns' garden. Currently probably the most beautiful location in Cochem. You have to organize it yourself, but it's also affordable. I can only recommend it without reservation.
