Gaffel am Dom Concerts 2025-2026

This place is right outside the train station and Cologne Cathedral. It was busy for dinner, but we were able to find a table. The atmosphere is great! I ordered the Viennese Style Schnitzel with french fries and mixed green salad, and we ordered a pretzel to share. They keep bringing Kölsch when your glass is empty, and you have to put your coaster on top of your class to tell them to stop. The schnitzel and fries were excellent, and the Kölsch was very good! The pretzel was cold and tough which was a little bit of a letdown. It took a little while to flag down our waiter to pay. Altogether, our meal was great, and we’d go again!

I came here 3 times to get a table. It is a very popular place. The service and atmosphere is definitely amazing. The beer is special and tasty. I ordered the soup, the famous pork with mushroom sauce, the crispy pig shoulder. It’s a good place to go with your family or friends

Even if you have an hour for Köln, come and get tour taste of their beer. Vibrant place, happy atmosphere, and with a peek of the cathedral. Food looks good, and the menu has a variety of delicious local dishes.

I came to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. I wanted to try typical German food, and I feel like I fell into the right place for it. The dishes are classic meat with vegetables. And it can be accompanied with a good beer. While the prices at this restaurant in central Cologne may seem high, the experience may be worth it, but it will depend on the kind of experience you are looking for. The aesthetics of the place look like an old tavern with lots of wood and warm lights. The staff is very friendly and it is very convenient that they speak English.

Good local draft beer and food with Affordable price. I tried the grilled pork knuckle but it was too big for 1 person. You should share this dish with other if you want to try it. Crowded but comfortable place to have dinner.
