Nice brewery vibe, good selection of tasty food, largely traditional German. A few vegan options. Beer comes in small glasses only but they refill frequently - and you can get beer from their own brewery. Recommended.

This place was recommended to us after the other local restaurants were all booked for the night. Alter Bahnhof was also booked but thank you to Christos he was able to find a way to get us a table! The food was A++!! The schnitzel is highly recommended as is the tapas plate The Alt Bier is also A++!!! This is one of our favorite places to eat and drink during our visit this time! We will be adding Alter Bahnhof to our list of favorites and we will definitely be coming back on our next trip!!

I had a great experience. We came is around 5 PM on a Saturday to have an early dinner. Place was relatively airy, as it's early, so not loud at all, like others complain, but I can imagine it gets louder as more and more people appeare for dinner. Service was friendly and super attentive. The food was good. We paid 52€ for 2 schnitzels and 2 beers. Not the cheepest, but was worth it.

A lively and fascinating venue. One of the first things you see on entering are the big copper vats where there own special brew is being prepared. Their own brew is too easy to drink and when you are close to finishing another glass appears so when you have had enough pop a beer mat on top of the glass. The food is very good quality and great for a large selection of traditional German meals. Keep an eye out for their special menu.

Nice plates, nice beer, an old station become a traditional beer house. I like it, and I will definitely go again! Update after some years. It remains the same. Amazing personal.
