I write reviews when I find something excessively bad, or in this case excessively great. I was very surprised by the great service and excellent advice at our tourist information center. My concerns were immediately taken to heart and a quick solution was found without much bureaucracy. I was even called back promptly with information about the result!!!! There are courteous, committed and extremely nice employees working there (they were in my case). My first thought was: "Well, great people were hired there, people like going there!" This is how Dessau can always present itself!

Dessau and Wörlitz are definitely worth a visit. But you shouldn't travel by public transport. The local transport is terrible to say the least. There is only a bus from Dessau to Wörlitz every hour and current timetables cannot be found on the internet. We almost got stranded in Wörlitz, the bus was canceled, the next bus was announced on the internet as being canceled, but it still came, the train was also canceled, hurray. Reaching Luisium by bus is a challenge, only on-call bus. So you don't get any tourists into the city. You think about it three times.

Friendly employees provide advice on all questions about Dessau, excursion destinations in Dessau and the surrounding area, the Bauhaus and the Anhalt Theater. In addition to tickets for theaters and other events, various souvenirs and books are offered.
