A truly exceptional place where you should experience the cinema at least once. Of course, the Herrmann, the restaurants and the beautiful hiking trails are also a great attraction. And if you still have strength, just visit the large climbing park. But a visit in the evening, with lukewarm air and a good atmosphere, is simply beautiful and unique. The cinema is fun. You can hear the trees rustling, people laughing and you can still eat something. Simply wonderful up there!

It is a very special experience to watch a film outside in nature. Don't forget to take blankets and proper seat cushions with you. You can also rent some at the checkout, but they are very thin and don't provide much protection from the cold later on.

For about 4 weeks in the summer you can watch the best films of the year at the open-air stage - always in view of the Hermannsdenkmal. The films only start after sunset at around 9:45 p.m., so you should be prepared for a longer evening. A blanket and seat cushions for the wooden benches are recommended. To get you in the mood, a regional artist will play for about 1 hour beforehand. You can buy popcorn, drinks, chips and sausages on site, but a picnic basket should never be missing.
