Himmelfahrtskirche, Dresden Concerts 2024

A Medlz concert always meets all requirements. Church was well heated and clean.

It's a very beautiful church. Especially the leaded glass windows. I was there for the performance of a choral symphonic concert with the Friedrich Wolf Choir and the Lößnitzchor Radebeul, Msse D major by Dvorak. A magnificent experience. The church is acoustically perfect.

This Church visit has a special story. I was visiting a family at Altleuben, and while returning from this place, I saw this Church and I told my friend, that this has an aura which makes me think it's Magical. Then, he asked me, did you visit it. And the answer was a NO. And I felt that, I should add this to my bucket list. Much to my Surprise. That, very evening, my friend from Berlin, said she will do a Benefit Concert (Concert for Ukraine war suffering fundraiser) and she said that event will take place in this church. Moments like this, make me feel that GOD exists. I am Hindu and at the same time, I will follow Christianity. We live in a World of Quantum Computers, so being a Hindu and Christian in an equal manner, is Possible.

It's a shame that only a very limited number of visitors could be admitted and they could only be admitted after purchasing tickets in advance. Unfortunately, this is all due to the pandemic and this is also reflected in the nativity play! Very short and not particularly nice and I didn't like the sermon at all. Hopefully next year it will be the same as we have seen in the past.
