Hotel Pullman Dresden Newa Concerts 2024

I can not recommend this hotel sincerely. Positive: The only good thing which comes to my mind about this hotel is, that the breakfast was fine, and enough as in quality as in quantity. Negatives: 1. The Pullmann Hotel "offers" PARKING through Booking, but it is a lie! Only city parking is available and about 1 km away. So imagine the logistics of the bags and packings back and fore at arrival and at departure! 2. The rooms are unhealthily small. 3. The shower and the toilet is placed in the middle of the room and separated only with a glass wall! Outrageous! This "design" is very uncomfortable on both sides of the glass wall, when any of the two equipments is used!

Convenient and comfortable place to stay. Very close to the train station and a 15 minutes walk to the main attractions. The rooms are well proportioned with some great views, while the people of the Hotel were very kind and polite.

Room with large window overlooking the city (or station). Room was very spacious, luxury feel to it. I felt very privileged to stay there. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would be my first choice when staying in Dresden again.

I would like to inform visitors that after checking other reviews, I am not the only one who receives mutliple messages from this platform, that the owner of this business wants my review being taken down. At first it was because a word that is not allowed to be used here and now they try every other possibility. Please consider this place prefers to delete negative feedback over improving their service. I even had to upload an image to prove evidence for my review. Initial review: The parking ruins the whole experience the most, when I know where is the entrance and I still have to go to the hotel first to get the card. Other hotels simply have the call button. Also you learn first you are paying 20 EUR and then you read on the walls, things might get stolen from your car. On the stairs from the parking there is something that looks like remaining of sorry to say it - the thing that dog does outside once a day. The room was visually clean but extremely dusty, carpet wasn’t wet cleaned for a long time and the cleaning lady didn’t reach to the top of the wooden covers behind bed and elsewhere. Just one pillow, maybe enough for sleeping but for example not enough to watch tv. Also little bit surprised there is no fridge and no coffee machine. To only include body/hair combo shower gel is something I would expect in Ibis but not Pullman .

I left a review 5 years ago but this time I need to add some text after visiting again. I love this place and in that price category it's probably the best you can get in Dresden. The view is amazing, the higher the floor the better it is. I stayed at the 11th floor this time and again...I was stunned by the view. The room design might be unusual with the shower in the room but it is actually great. I don't know any other place in this city (that I know since I was a kid) where you can take a shower while looking at the city from above. During the night it's just so cozy to turn off the light, open the curtains and watch Dresden by night while having a glass of (add your favorite beverage here☺️). The breakfast buffet is very rich and comes with a variety of food. Totally worth getting it. Another thing I love: checkout at 12. If you ever stayed in a hotel you know how stressful checking out at 10 can be. Not here. Have your breakfast until 11 and then pack in a very relaxed way...that's what you get here. Even better is only the service. The staff is incredibly nice, kind, helpful and is always able to put a smile on your face. I got sick during my stay (brought it from my hometown☺️) and the staff was really helpful. Whatever I needed, they took care of it. Highly recommended.
