Liebfrauenkirche Concerts

Large church on the top of the hill at Frankenberg, steps at the entrance. The interior is quite plain, you can get leaflets in a variety of languages that explain the interesting features. The seats are well padded. A very pleasing place to sit for quiet contemplation and commune with the almighty.

Church of our lady built in 1286 in the gothic style, tall with painted vaulted ceiling. Some interesting features inside including old tabernacle, cast iron oven doors and pieces by Tyle von Frankenberg

A truly impressive building that makes me wonder how something like this was possible back then. Today there is so much technology...but nothing so beautiful is built anymore. There is also a strong story behind it and community services still take place here today. German history lived to this day. Great 😇

Imposing, breathtaking appearance that can be seen from afar. It towers mightily on the mountain in the middle of a wonderful half-timbered old town.
