Batschkapp Concerts 2024-2025

Great venue. Very well setup, very good access, very nice wardrobe and bar area. Nice big stage, lights, everything. Went to just one concert here recently. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the live sound. I was standing close to the center, just right of the mixing desk. All I could hear all night was the drums and the voice, anything else was in the background or muddied. I went to worse concerts, but this was definitely not good. The sound was equally bad for both bands playing that night. Must have been either the sound person or just the room. Too bad, because everything else was mega!

Discriminatory practices. Rude staff. Completely overpriced. Without a live performance, they have a "DJ" who plays on a dark stage - does not mix anything and sticks to a set playlist for which I can find better on Spotify or literally anywhere else for free. Complete waste of time and money.

Nice concert place. You can buy your drink at the place. 4.5 Euro for a 50cl beer. It is forbidden to bring your drink inside. There is a security check. Outside there are some street food options. Easy to reach using U-bahn.

This place is such a great time. It is cash only and usually about 15 euro to get in and coat check is around the same. They have a variety of drinks and with the drinks you have a token to get a few dollars back. Almost like a pfand. Try and make it on one of their throw back nights.
