Grüneburgpark Reviews

Super pretty park. Lots of picknickers in good weather. No grills allowed. Paths for bikes. Kids playgrounds available. Great place to relax and picnic on a sunny day.

Nice and pretty big urban park, great for running and sports. It has 2 interesting children's playgrounds, one of them with water games (in summer). There is also a small park cafe that works when the weather is nice. Parking is scarce, best to park on the side of Palmengarten.

Beautiful park next door to the Palmengarten and the Botanical Garden. It was the site of the 19th century "New Palais" of the Rothschilds which was destroyed in 1944 during World War II. The Rothschilds had to sell their property in 1935 at below market value due to pressure from the Nazis. It was subsequently turned into a public park. My late parents Antje and Wilhelm Pällmann donated a tree in the park.

A large green-space in the middle of the city, well wooded, plenty of top quality paths, play areas for kids and a modern public convenience. A café too can be found near to the Korean houses.
