The Museum of the Lower Rhine Soul also offers good small concerts and events. Last weekend, for example, we selected high-quality craft items for Christmas.

Very beautiful and well-structured exhibitions that give a comprehensive impression of the way of life in the region. Very friendly and committed employees. The special exhibition “Diaries of Lieselotte Katz” was very vivid and touched us very much. The museum is worth a visit at any time. We'd love to come back. After visiting the museum, we recommend a walk through the adjacent park.

Heard about the application process and the possibility of exhibiting my pictures there. I set out on Wednesday, the Labor Day holiday. Last week I called in advance to find out about opening times AND whether the boss was in the house. The old lady on the phone said he was definitely in the house too. I actually didn't feel like going there on a public holiday because I'm using public transport and have a long way to go. A good 4-5 hour drive there and back. But at the risk of procrastinating, I decided to go there on Wednesday to get it over with. When I get there, I find out that, and I quote the woman at the information stand at the checkout: “The boss is of course not in the house”. The woman was able to give me some information, but not enough. I also found some of them very unsympathetic. She told me TWICE that it was not guaranteed that the works would be taken. Yes, just imagine that, it's completely clear to me, because what would you be applying for if you accepted everyone? It's a shame that the impression and experience was so negative, the concept itself is interesting, great and the building is beautiful + nice surroundings.
