Elbphilharmonie Hamburg Concerts 2025

In the historic and famous harbour area of the Hamburg, this building offers unique look to the visitors sailing in the river and watching from decks and more from its 8 th floor viewing galleries. Overlooking the harbour from west and south sides, you will have breathtaking views of the shining waters and the boats. The north and east sides give the city’s century old buildings still standing strong and the canals. The central hall has curved crafted glass doors which are very unique. We visited it on when the harbour was celebrating its hundred years. It has a clean WC in the 7th floor.

Since I saw a documentary few years ago on this building and how was great engineering involved to build it up, it was on my “must visit” list. So, it was natural that I visited it first thing when I went to Hamburg. There is a ticket counter where you can get free tickets to get to the terrace of this building. It’s kind of building that you have to see in person to admire it. If you visit it plz see the documentary on how it was built to respect the effects that went into building it. It’s a great landmark that makes Hamburg proud.

A must visit place in Hamburg, and I would suggest you take a guided tour. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take pictures in most of the areas due to their policies however it is completely worth it. The amount of attention to the architectural details, the aesthetic, the sound engineering that went into this building is simply astonishing. We were a group of 20+and the guide was more than helpful and accommodating, however be prepared for a lot of walking and stairs 😅 The views you can see from the inside are amazing, even though the weather was not friendly during our visit.

The views are beautiful on a clear sunny day.. recommend to get the free tickets from the counter.. in case of rush- the ticket can be bought online for nominal price.

Unique building the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, must see when you are there. The windows are not the same as the others. We have to get the ticket at the entrance to go in and visit, but we don't have to pay for it, so it's still free.
