I’m enjoying perfect Klezmermusik!

I'm sure its a wonderful place for concerts but it was my mother's home until 1939 until she , her sisters and her parents were forced to leave and the synagogue was destroyed.

Very beautiful venue with a magnificent atmosphere!!

A very special place with very beautiful architecture, the staircase alone is a feast for the eyes. But the best awaited us inside: a hall whose stage took up almost half of the area and had rows of seats on three sides, with the rows of seats rising sharply towards the back so that every visitor had a clear view. The acoustics were perfect, the bands, including the NDR big band, were at their best. It was a very nice evening in a pleasant atmosphere

Great place, very nice program. Strange that apart from the plaque outside, there is no information about the history of the synagogue/hall inside. The staff is very friendly and helpful
