Thalia Theater Concerts

Nice theater with great contemporary repertoire. If you are here for a sold out performance, make sure to come a little early to comfortably get to your sit. They tend to start at time.

Theater itself is not bad, however nothing special as well. Program is quite good though especially if you like modern theater. One small detail that really spoiled the impression - wardrobe is not free, I had to pay 2 eur to store my jacket there! It’s such a shame, highly recommend to the administration of the theater not to embarrass and to make wardrobe free. As it is well known “Any theater begins in the garderobe”.

Enjoyable overall experience. Be aware that to store your jackets, there is a cash-only fee to be paid. There is no card payment possible - in 2024 - nor is it included in the ticket price. Thankfully, a very friendly and helpful colleague by the name of Juri was able to help us, and we exchanged PayPal for 4€. Thank you, Juri!

Without the shadow of a doubt one of the first venues when it comes to Theater in Hamburg!!! Always high profile ambitious theater in a classical environment. There's a restaurant in house too. Lately there is a pretty classy little side venue available every now and then. called "Nacht Asyl" mainly for under 30s. Check the program and don't miss out

Not the most impressive theatre I've come across in Europe, but worth a visit. I would definitely recommend to visit, especially due to its close proximity to fountains which is also picturesque, especially at night.
