EXPO Plaza Concerts 2024

Although it's not one of the biggest venue for concerts & events. However it's truly a great Plaza with much of interesting surrounding architecture, facilities and also easy to reach within U-Bhan or even S-Bahn. Visited a concert this summer (Imagine Dragons) and it was one of the best experience I ever had, it was well organised and day went well.

Festival 2023: Weather, music and atmosphere great. But..... At a family celebration (there are children), at least the prices for fries and non-alcoholic drinks should be moderate. But they bordered on rip-offs. €4.50 for a small portion of fries is quite cheeky. In contrast, a large skewer of meat cost €6.50. It's out of proportion!! The cocktails were terribly bad and far too expensive for the poor quality. There was a reason that as a customer you couldn't see the spirits. Cheap booze. Note... eat well beforehand and drink enough (non-alcoholic). The two of us spent over €100 on top of the entry fee and won't be coming back. Let's see if this review appears....

B.R.O.I.L.E.R.S🎸☮️🥁🤘🦄L.I.V.E The Expo Plaza is not my thing. I thought so after 4 visits in the last few years. On September 8th, 23 I would be proven wrong. So now the advantages: It's outside, space for 20,000 people and without crowds! The sound was great from all sides and what really pleased me personally - it was loud! After all the gigs out in Hanover, which seemed almost at room volume, it was a real feast for my ears. Take line 6 (for the concert also line 16) and get off at the door. Perfect. The entrances/exits wide and wide open, hardly any traffic jams when going in and out. The security was friendly and quick when checking your body and bags. The Broilers were in top form for their farewell concert of the tour, the audience was chilled and in a great mood. An experience that I can draw on for a long time. There was food everywhere. Asian, pizza, burgers, fries, pretzels etc. Prices, yes. You have to put up with it these days. Beer 5.00 euros / 0.4 l. It's better to visit the toilets during a gig, otherwise there will be the usual queues. At least with the girls. I don't know exactly why the first time I had the feeling that everything was going well here and I could just celebrate, this time it was someone. So and that's why there are 5 stars. P.S. Arriving by car might not be so relaxing, I heard here and there.
