Until a few years ago it was a nice playground with a large sandpit and a very good climbing frame. At that time there were also staff (including caretakers) who looked after the playground and schoolyard. The schoolyard/playground of the Herne Municipal Music School has now degenerated into a real eyesore. On the one hand, it is used as a parking lot by the guests of the music school, even though the area has no-parking signs because it serves as a fire department entrance. The residents are disturbed during the day and especially in the evening by roaring vehicle engines, slamming doors and snatches of conversation. The playground was fenced in to protect children playing from vehicles. On the other hand, the schoolyard/playground serves as a retreat for disturbers of the peace and drug users in the evenings and especially at night. Frequent nighttime police operations are a result of loud music, shouting and other disturbances of the peace. The schoolyard is littered with rubbish from broken glass bottles.

My child has guitar lessons here and the quality and organization of this music school is simply convincing. Registration takes place through the city administration, the range of courses is large and the school building is inviting, a former elementary school. The guitar teacher Mr. Hormaza Niño has a good knack for beginners, is motivated by praise and is patient. If all lecturers are selected in this way, students of all ages will be well advised. A clear recommendation from me.

I would like to give this school 0 points, loud shouting from young people until 10 p.m. No parking spaces are offered so that all parking spaces are occupied by residents from morning to evening. Even on Sundays the school is so loud that you can't have peace on Sunday afternoons. Events take place regardless of losses, both morning and evening. I cannot recommend this school to anyone.

Great offer, many courses, even for small children. I can recommend early musical education (MFE). My child likes going there. The ongoing open day was also very nice, where children and adults can try out various musical instruments under supervision. The cafeteria on the ground floor is also very good. Nice employees and fresh waffles.

Joachim Stückmann is the best singing teacher you could wish for. With a lot of patience, humor and love for the matter, he brings us the joy of singing in a 'bite-sized' way, and at the same time also explains larger contexts. This is great cinema! We always go home in a good mood and positively charged.
