A great look back into the past - it's unimaginable the conditions under which our ancestors had to live in the Black Forest in earlier times... The museum is lovingly furnished and, if desired, a lot of information is available everywhere. Also highly recommended for families with children. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly reception at the ticket booth. On the way back from the museum, be sure to enjoy the delicious home-baked cake with a cup of delicious coffee. Coffee and cake are worth recommending even without a visit to the museum. We'd love to come back!

Small, interesting open-air museum. Especially the house and the description of how people lived here 200-150 years ago. Beautiful surroundings. The glassworks is across the street and a super tasty restaurant is 50 meters away (gasthaus loipenstüble).
