Hotel Tanne Ilmenau Concerts 2024

Old establishment, everything in the room is pretty worn out. But there are people who like such old charm, not me. The rooms are not at all well lit. Breakfast is ok. Front desk lady couldn’t speak English but she did help as much she could, though not entirely sure if she was happy to help. Still haven’t completely figured out how I ended up spending a week in Ilmenau. Might as well be the best hotel in the town, not sure.

Came here for the restaurant located in the hotel, It’s a very luxurious place I must say including the bathroom - big, gorgeous, clean, well lit, unfortunately I didn’t get a picture in. We reserved in advance because we were gonna be 7 on a Saturday, the meals were of good quantity and quality, service was great. Very filling I must say. Price range + drinks will be around - €25-€40. We had wine, 2 Flasche Wasser, Vorspeise and Hauptspeise, bill beträgt €211. The wait time after ordering our food was about 20-30mins however we were gisting a lot so didn’t notice. Thank you for your service.

Was passing by on a motorcycle tour. What a hidden gem in the Thüringer Wald. Spacious modern rooms, comfortable beds. Attetinve and friendly staff. Delicious mouthwatering food. Would come back here again!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious enough for a one night stay and I really liked the fancy and very modern bathroom. The beds were twin beds so perfect for friends to spend the night. I’m pretty sure you could also ask for a double bed if you’re a couple. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast was included and was plentiful, hot dishes, breads, fresh coffee, Müsli, Joghurt, fruit etc. it was delicious. I can very much recommend anyone to stay here when in Ilmenau. It’s also a 5 minute walk from the station and pretty central.

I did not spend the night but the wedding that took place there was wonderful. We were well taken care of and the buffet was excellent (namely the scalloped potatoes). The patio in the center was nicely decorated and it's location provided an excellent of sun and shade along with protection from any wind. All in all it was wonderful!
