A somewhat sober multi-purpose hall, but the acoustics at the concert were very good. Gastronomy is okay, but not cheap. Ample parking spaces. Kudos to the local organizers who keep bringing in top acts.

The event “Ennio Moricone in Concert” was an artistic highlight, an entertaining pleasure. This was the only reason why you could forget about the very uncomfortable seats in the ascending rows - we had category 1! bought-that were hard and tight. It's a little better in the parquet, but there you sit at ground level, so the view is worse. Insiders, who unfortunately we weren't, had brought pillows with us. Overall, the Harzlandhalle exudes too much of the flair of a sports hall, and the concert experience suffers as a result. The catering in the entrance area was good, quick and reasonably priced.
