Stiftskirche Kaufungen Concerts

Very interesting history. Lovely scenery.

Very beautiful and newly renovated old monastery church in Oberkaufungen. The church is not open permanently. It is now open at Christmas time with the beautiful and well-known Christmas market. Concerts take place there.

This weekend there is again a Christmas market at the collegiate church. Small and cozy. With regional delicacies and handicrafts. Hats, earthenware, beeswax products, knitted & sewn items. Hot chestnuts, crepes and mulled wine in all variations. Is highly recommended.

I was at the Christmas market, there were a number of Christmas houses set up around the collegiate church, there was a lot to admire, I really liked the inside of the church, I would love to come back

We were here for the Christmas market and then took a look at the collegiate church. Very nicely renovated church with an interesting history.
