Nice spot, where the Mosel and the Rhine rivers meet. The Kaiser Wilhelm Monument is also impressive! It was rather quiet today since it was windy and cold, but it’s a popular place and I believe some river cruises, like Viking, come here. Check it out 👍🏻

A wonderful and solemn tour of this amazing monument to the benevolent King Wilhelm I on the corner (Ecke) convergence of Father Rhein and Mother Moselle Rivers. There are sixteen flags to represent the unity of the formerly independent states, plus two additional flags to include the EU and a tribute flag of the United States, raised in support following the 9/11 attack in New York City. The grounds included the former Palace and there is a cable car across the Rhein to visit the medieval fortress which guarded the waterway. Ralf was an amazing guide and historian with a heartfelt presentation.

Went for a run around the Koblenz waterfront and paused here to enjoy the view. The confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle with hardly anybody around. Marked by a gargantuan equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm.Lovely views of the castle atop the far bank of the Rhine. Well worth a visit.

The history of this location is interesting and at the same time sad that the original was destroyed in 1945. The 1993 replica seems just as awe inspiring and fantastically weathered.

The junction of the MoSel and Rhine rivers, the location is perfect, a wonderful statue awaits you, there is a big castle opposite, you can easily reach there thanks to the cable car, there are cafes and restaurants 5 minutes away, Koblenz is a perfect and ideal city. Don't leave without stopping by
