Köthen Castle Concerts

Historical building where Johann Sebastian Bach worked as Kapellmeister from 1717 to 1723. It is definitely worth-it. You can play a baroque style instruments!

No one speaks English but they will bend over backwards to help you. They are proud of their history with Bach and others. They have kept the castle in very good condition

Interesting museum where you'll know the history of the Prince Leopold and his dinasty. The 12 years that J.S. Bach was here can be also remembered through the visit. And the jewel of the crown is the Mirror Hall, where the orchestra stayed during the time of Bach and that is just opened after 7 years of restoration.

Bach exhibition: New exhibition was really good because that was written by English in detail but besides that there was no English version .. :(
